Questions
What the Wikipedia game is, how a wiki race works, and how to play with friends.
What is the Wikipedia game?
Clickipedia is a Wikipedia game you play as a competition. Everyone starts on the same article and tries to reach a target article. You move only by clicking links on the page. A game is won by the fewest clicks or by the fastest finish, depending on the mode.
How do you play the Wiki race?
Click the blue links in the article. Each link opens another Wikipedia page and counts as one click. Keep following links until you land on the target. The article in front of you is the whole board.
Does Clickipedia have anti-cheat?
Yes. During a game, searching the article for the target does not work. The page still reads normally, and you move only by clicking its links.
Can you play the Wikipedia game with friends?
Yes. Host a game and pick a private lobby or a public one. A private lobby gets a 6-digit PIN, plus an invite link and QR code, so friends can jump straight in. A public wiki race shows up on the home page for anyone to join.
What earns leaderboard points?
Finishing the daily, the weekly, or a public lobby earns leaderboard points. Solo practice is for trying routes on your own and stays off the leaderboard.
When do the daily and weekly change?
The daily is one shared route that changes at midnight UTC. The weekly is a longer route for the whole week. Both score fewest clicks first, then the faster finish.
